Edison & Ford Winter Estates

Thomas Edison and Henry Ford lived next to each other in Ft Myers. The Banyon tree
pictured stated as a 4 ft tall, 2 1/2 inch thick sappling. Now it takes up one acre.

Tarpon Springs & Ybar City

Tarpon Springs is the greek area centered around the sponge diving business. We had a great lunch in a greek restaurant.
We then went to an area in Ybar City where the cigar industry was centered. We had dinner at the Columbia restaurant. Magnificent food and a very nice flamenco dancing show. A very unique day.

St Augustine Florida

Flagler College
Lightner Museum
Oak/moss lined street
Fountain of Youth
Casillo de San Marcos
We finally had a good weather day. It was cold but still better than the rain/snow we've had.
St Augustine dates back to 1513 (I think) and is the oldest city in the US. Very nice city with several hop on/hop off trains/trollies to take you to all the sights.
