Went to the Cardinals game last night.
It is super hot and humid here. It was 91 degrees and 90% humidity at 7pm.
Cookie only moves when she has to. We are here until the 23rd.

We could not get on the internet at our last RV park in Independence MO. We are just south of St. Louis and will be here for a week.
We survived several bad thunderstorms.

Lebold Mansion

Lebold started the Abilene Bank.

Historical Sites

President Eisenhower was raised in this house with his 5 brothers. The home is on the original site.

Thunderstorms

Severe thunderstorms today so we decided to hunker down and stay in.

Abilene, Kansas

Arrived here today after traveling all day Sunday. We stopped in Liberal, Kansas, Sunday evening after leaving Sky City, NM in the morning. The winds were at our backs most of the day so we had great gas mileage. At least 10 MPG!! We were getting a little over 7 MPG until then.

We will do some sightseeing tomorrow. The Eisenhower Presidential Library is here among other historical homes and sights.
